1-2. Not many positives in this one.
I'm starting to look at Ronnie like I ended up viewing Kreis: he wasn't given a fair shake, but that does not mean he is right for the job.
Agreed. Didn’t get to watch this as I’m at an engagement party but all of our games play the same. Easy to tell what happened by looking at the game stats. High possession and low conversion. Lose the games we should win.I'm starting to look at Ronnie like I ended up viewing Kreis: he wasn't given a fair shake, but that does not mean he is right for the job.
And our only attacking player who can actually take on and beat a defender one on one is playing for some team in Saudia Arabia.Completely agree that we looked exhausted. Especially Chanot. That being said...
we can now say certain guys aren’t good enough. Medina is still not good enough. He plays like a soft, disinterested weenie.
Gudi is not good enough. GMS is not
Good enough. Taty is not good enough to be a starting Striker. Ronny certainly isn’t good enough.
Acevedo? Part of me says he must not be. But we don’t rotate. So how would I know.
this offseason will be massive. Maxi is coming off a season of “old player” injuries and he doesn’t want to play for the manager. Medina is a lost cause. Mitri is gone. Heber? Who the hell Knows.
We need massive offseason recruitment. We’re short a midfielder. A striker. Protection for both fullbacks. A winger.
We were 7-1-2 in our last 10 games before this game. Haven't looked that bad for a while. Kind of feels like we were due for one of those.
Getting caught up on twitter and here and seeing multiple people saying they’re done. Only watching if there’s absolutely nothing to do or not following at all anymore.
The team has sucked the passion from its fans.

I have not thought we looked particularly good despite the results. The 7-1-2 run began with a 1-0 win against a Columbus team that started about half their usual squad, followed by wins against Chicago and the Revs. Then there was a 4-game stretch where we scored just 2 goals yet only lost once. Yay defense I guess, but damn that offense sucks. We finally explode for 11 goals in 3 games: against Cincinnati, Miami, and DC. I mean, you play who they put in front of you, and our offense had some motion and style we haven't seen before, but we've still only scored more than 1 goal in 6 out of 17 games: against those 3, Chicago, New England, and Cincinnati again. So, 50% of our multi-goal games are against teams with a PPG below 1.0. And we've been shutout 7 times.I unfortunately feel we're going to have a run of these types of games.

Hey, we earned points against the underbelly, which you need to do. But until we score some goals against the decent teams (which we can start doing in the next few games) don't have much confidence.

For me Covid and not being able to go to games is a big factor. Let's face it there's always been better soccer you can find on TV , the feeling of connection and excitement toward the team came from being able to go seem them live much easier than the EPL, La Liga, Bundesliga etc...
Yeah; That's why I think that despite all those people saying things about LAFC or ATL and this season which is essentially a bust for ATL (and depending who you ask, for LAFC too even though they're on 24 points), their fans will still be there because they have great fan care and engagement, inside the stadium and out.I’ve resigned myself
To the fact that some of this is COVID related. But here’s the deal - when you have gone out of your way for 6 seasons to burn all types of bridges with your fans, it’s tough to get away with a season like this
