Portland is an exceptional counter attacking team, so missing Bravo will hurt. However, Portland's field is small. Not as small as YS but still small. So having someone else in place of Bravo that passes the ball better is important. I would put Mix as a quasi CDM/CM along with Lopez. Have Pirlo above them with TMAC and have Villa and Shelton up top.

Oh and start EJ over Saunders lol.....

Because a team doesn't cut an injured player and he's young, has a low cap hit, and they want to evaluate his potential when not hurt. A botched surgery wasn't his fault and it took a follow up surgery after the first made the injury worse.
