5-2. New York is Blue! Taty with the 2nd hat trick in derby history.
I mean, we could count 2016 for what happened as "every year it's crazy" even though it wasn't too good to usMan, what is it about the Derby at Yankee Stadium? Every year it's crazy. We're just always in for a show.
2020: Taty hat trick
2019: Heber backheel
2018: Two red cards (then in the other game Maxi wins it with 5 minutes left)
2017: Villa hat trick
That game was a blast. Wish there were fans there, would have been rocking and rolling. Great, great performance. The team is really playing well right now.

They've only been able to get a point at YS since 7-0, which is kind of crazy, and it came against 9 men. That was probably the most exhausted I've been after a game, as a fan.I mean, we could count 2016 for what happened as "every year it's crazy" even though it wasn't too good to us
NYC now has a winning record over Red Bulls from 2016 to date (6-5-2). Of course this is structured just-so to exclude 3 losses, and so I would not throw this in the face of any RB fans, but it is a 5 year record and there is some legitimacy to figuring how we've done excluding our expansion year. This also excludes Cup games where RB has an advantage, but that's a pretty common thing to do.
Ring's goal has to be a Goal Of The Week candidate, no?
I want to hope that what we're seeing is Taty maturing into a leadership role now that he's forced to be The Man in the absence of Hebér and Treats.New York City FC Forward Valentín Castellanos Voted MLS Player of the Week | MLSSoccer.com
