You should probably rename this to include when the manager leaves in the summer of 2021For all rumors and articles about NYCFC's manager for the 2020 season. Will convert into the official thread once the manager is announced.

It’s your turnIt will be encompassed in this one thread. Threads can evolve, unlike NYCFC's ability to find stability.
That would be a monumental Fck you from CFG. Probably a great guy and loyal to a fault, but a managerial newbie. No way he’s tactically astute enough or able to command a locker room of foreign veterans.Wouldn’t be shocked to hear Mehdi’s name attached to the job if GVB balks.

PV was at least a reserve team coach, that he held for 2+ years (with 2 more as a lower age academy coach), so managing players on the cusp of real pro careers. MB is what, the U15 coach for the last 2 years. If anything, I'm surprised Pilkington isn't garnering more of the praise since he's been the coach for the academy's wunderkids class since they arrived; unless he has no interest in moving up, I'd expect if CFG was really gonna promote from within that it'd be Matt Pilkington. He’s already one of the best youth coaches in America. He’s credited with a lot of the Academt success the last couple of years. No clue if he can command a room of veterans, but he’s an MLS vet, an NYCFC vet and has more coaching experience now than PV did I believe when he took over.
Ring for player/coach. Who's with me!We need a coach by the ccl draw date, I don’t want them to wait till January for this.

There's a couple of votes for this already, so let's go.
