Well, temp stadium anyway. Just saw this at MLS dot com:
Of course it's only my 2 cents worth(less), but the Mets/Yankees thing a lot of people chirp about is overblown. If and when the Mets are offered a piece of the action, the Wilpons will welcome NYCFC with open arms.

I'm with the majority who believe it's only a matter of time before they name Yankee Stadium as the temp venue. I might be in the minority on this one, but I also believe Citi Field would be available if any sort of conflict comes up that would keep the team out of the Bronx.NEW YORK – New York City FC will soon have a place to call home.
Claudio Reyna, the former US national team star and NYCFC's Director of Football, told a handful of reporters at the club’s official badge unveiling on Thursday night that an announcement for the temporary stadium is looming.
It has been widely speculated that Yankee Stadium will host NYCFC when the MLS expansion franchise’s inaugural season gets underway in 2015, but Reyna did not confirm or deny that rumor during the ceremony.
Instead, he kept things simple by saying that a decision on the venue would be publicly made in the coming weeks.
“We’re close on that. We’ll soon announce where we’ll be playing,” Reyna said. “Within the next month. We expect to have an announcement within the next month.”
