He is a defender. I don't think he has ever played midfield ever, maybe in U5s.

Does anyone know his expected return is? I remember seeing something about April? I really loved this pick up and I hope that he can make a full recovery.

I've heard May or April. Thing to remember is that he hasn't played for almost 18 months and it was a bad injury even if he recovers by April he will take a few months to get back into shape. If it's even possible.

Kries said a couple of weeks ago that best case scenario is he plays a little at the end of the year but even that looks unlikely.

Yeah I would be shocked if we see hm this year. In fact I'm 50/50 if he just retires before ever playing for NYCFC.

interesting because the injury report from nycfc didnt include him. usually he is listed as out.
