If we do this again this season, we need to do the best we can to ensure/incentivize folks to continue setting their lineups throughout the season. Not knocking anyone at all for losing interest (I get it), it just isn't much fun playing head to head when most of the match-ups are essentially bye weeks, until you occasionally are up against one of the other few who are still playing. Maybe we just abandon head to head and just go to cumulative points, other than the pigeon cup. Or maybe take advantage of the two seasons, and have two separate head to head leagues so that everyone will have two bites (and less time to fall too far behind). Just thinking out loud and typing.
I quite like the transfer deadline being the start of each player's game -- that's how fantasy football has always worked. The unlimited transfers is what blows it for me.Ok. Big changes: #1 No transfer deadline. It's really gone 100% in the DFS direction. Sad. #2 There will be an app. Not standalone, but within the MLS app. But it probably won't be ready till the after season starts. #3 two separate seasons. But who cares if we keep our own standings. Or we do the same and split the prizes...
I'm so numb since they changed away from building a team and getting 3 weekly changes, it's just not the same game.
So, who is in for this year? We have a little more than two weeks to get an even number of people in the league, decide on buy in, and payout structure. Be sure to tag additional people I may have forgotten.

Weird. You @'ed me but I have no alert. Did you do some sort of mod thing?
Yup. Much better.
Agree that organizing a mutually agreed upon time would be a nightmare. But even if a 16-18 team league would be weak, it would be a hell of a lot more entertaining than the current MLS format.A 16-18 team league is going to be very weak due to the lack of great players in MLS. Also organizing a mutually agreed upon time to draft is going to be a nightmare.

I'm in for another season through MLS website. I'm cool with same $$ amounts for buy-in & payout structures.
Unfortunately, I think people are going to lose interest regardless because: the season is a long duration, tough to catch-up to top-tier later in season due to discrepancy in funds, and there are no real ramifications due to already a sunk cost.
So I actually signed up for this to play around a bit, and they don't have rosters updated at all. I set up a private league and went through the draft page for available players, and below is what they have for NYCFC (bolded for those no longer on roster):
