Looking back at what I said a few days ago we still can’t put away chances. Taty had his chances that he couldn’t put away but he did rip one outside the box and that resulted in our one goal on a rebound. We play some boring football with rare moment of brilliance. Can’t discount a few of the goals we scored last week with great buildup and passing but those moments have been few and far between. We can’t seem to score goals unless it’s shots on a wide open net with goalie out of position.
I’d like to see Taty rip one outside of the box.
Honestly one of the best showings of the season.
Medina was hungry, Taty was hungry, the team was hungry... If we keep this up going into the playoffs, we could see a deep run...!
If Pro was consistent with how it calls hand balls and determining the position of a sphere in relation to intersecting planes (or something like that) then I believe we would actually be in third place right now.
The most likely one being Columbus as they host Philly (current shield leaders) and then are at Orlando. Those are two very losable games after they just lost at DCU.I believe this is correct. To make the top 4:
In some of those scenarios we end up even on points but I'm pretty sure NYC has more wins.
- NYCFC must win out, and
- the loser of the Columbus-Orlando game loses one more game, or they draw and either team loses one more game.
Less likely alternative is if NYC drops points in one game then it needs one of these teams to pretty much lose out.
Because we all know that PRO......and Doyle.....hate NYCFC!Why do people always assume that when the bad calls that hurt us get fixed in an alternate universe, that other corrected calls never help another team?
ETA: and that the bad calls that helped us which we forgot about because that's how memory works also don't get fixed?
Every time we win, the forum goes super optimistic and then as soon as we lose we're a clown show. heh. We've lost three games since August 24. I think it's time we start to realize that this is a really good soccer team. Yes there are some issues, yes guys are hurt, but this team is certainly capable of going on a deep run in the playoffs. We are probably true-talent no worse than the 3rd best team in the East, and we are not much worse than Philly and Columbus. Why not us?
I don't know what to think. Watching the games I never feel confident, like I did in the later stages of the Dome Era. I still think Deila is in over his head. Our best players are our wing backs and our number 10, who is getting old. And our keeper.
I don't feel like this is a cup winning team. I hope I'm wrong. On to 2021!
Because it’s an alternative Universe that has us higher up the table and that’s a nicer Universe duh.Why do people always assume that when the bad calls that hurt us get fixed in an alternate universe, that other corrected calls never help another team?

You think we have more talent than two of Toronto, Philly, Columbus, and Orlando? Even with Heber, Sands, and Mitrita all gone now? We've lost three games since August 24.
