MLS Stadium Update

Interesting article in the NY Times about the trend toward better and cheaper food at NFL stadiums - with particular focus on the new stadium in Atlanta, which will host their new MLS team as well.

One more thing to upset NYC fans as we look at what is building to our south. The food and prices at Yankee Stadium are a bad joke.*

I wonder what sponsorship situation looked like when MLS started.

I think the quality of sponsors increased dramatically.

Don't forget the original sponsors that were tucked on the bottom/backs of the jerseys. They were "league sponsors" assigned to teams, but not every team had one. This was back when the team names were on the front. I think DC had Honda?

Yeah, I didn't really point out in my response that there weren't club sponsors before 2007/8

DC United Stadium is officially under construction!

That just leaves us.

Whatever. The Galaxy play in a football stadium now. The SSSs are turning multi-purpose. We're just ahead of the curve.

You know what I like about a good mlm? Excellent inspirational infomercials that really reiterate to me that I can be thin with a clear complexion and have The Car and The Watch, if I just reach out and claim it.

Until Krafts sell they are not getting their own stadium. Can't imagine Gillett being worse than CenturyLink if Krafts actually cared.

New England Revolution are getting a stadium announcement or something, believes Matt Doyle per his AMA on r/MLS

Wow. That's not something I'd have expected. Watch them build it in Bridgeport just to screw with us.

Cup holders in the safe standing section in Orlando is an amazing detail.
