Yankee Stadium/Citi Field
Where we play and when, well, we won't know that until the ALCS.
Boy you must be one highly optimistic Twins fan.
Game is 7pm, 23 october
And imagine if the Yankees are in the World Series against a team that’s not the Dodgers... that would mean they HOST game 2. So odd that they wouldn’t make this match ThursdayA little surprised they're putting our game opposite a potential Yankees World Series game (that's the night of Game 2) -- they could have put us on Thursday, on a World Series off day. It might not matter, but you'd think they would want the New York audience not getting split by the World Series.

Atlanta, Minnesota, LA Galaxy and LAFC all share a city with a potential World Series team. They cannot all play on October 23. So why do you think the New York City situation is the most urgent to be held on different days? And imagine if the Yankees are in the World Series against a team that’s not the Dodgers... that would mean they HOST game 2. Minnesota
NYCFC and LAFC are the two biggest MLS markets and TV draws in the playoffs. They split the nights to draw the biggest TV audience across 2 nights of playoff matches. They are also the 2 conference winners. Many reasons (mostly $$) for MLS to separate those 2 on different nights. The most likely teams in the World Series are the Yankees, Dodgers, and Astros. MLS knows this. LAFC is hosting on the 24th, that's when we should be hosting, too.

Besides LA, the other game on the 24th (and not opposite the WS) will probably be in Atlanta. Those could easily be the 2 biggest ratings winners. I think the way they did it totally makes sense.yes and no. Sadly there doesn’t seem to be a TV audience when NYCFC plays the national games. We’ve all had theories, but the ratings don’t lie. So always give LA preference for tv spots because that’s where the $ is.

No it's not.First of all, that's a lot for the authorities to manage.
Plus, it's not as if the City has never had 3 teams playing concurrently before. I don't feel like looking it up, but I assume it happens on occasion. No it's not.
The NYPD is 38K strong and that's before they call in their auxiliary units, which is another 4500. That's nearly the size of 3 army divisions. With the way NYPD officers like to log overtime, and the relatively small size of three stadium venues - as opposed to the force needed to protect a 26.2 mile marathon course or every city block during UN Week - the drain on the department is going to be easily manageable.
If it was the LIRR, they’d have 10k employees working overtime for the three events with only 52 actually on site.Plus, it's not as if the City has never had 3 teams playing concurrently before. I don't feel like looking it up, but I assume it happens on occasion.
Between Yankee Stadium, Citi/Tennis, MSG and Barclays, whether it be sporting events or concerts, they fill up lots of dates. I'm sure it's fairly routine to have conflicts.
